Freakout Fest brings psychedelia to Seattle


Earlier this month, Seattle’s Freakout Fest rang in its 11th year. Freakout, an independent record label based in the city, supports several local music acts by putting on nonprofit events throughout the year. The festival is one of its biggest celebrations, taking over the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle in various bars and venues and making it a great way to experience the area.

From the fans to the artists, the local music community showed up with a strong and supportive presence this year. With acts ranging from Allah-Las, the Spits, Acid Mothers Temple, Death Valley Girls, Son Rompe Pera, Carrion Kids, Levitation Room, and tons more, relive the four-day fest below.
